The Big Shot starring Humphrey Bogart was released in the US in 1942 but didn't get its release in France until after the war in 1949.
Boris Grinsson (1907 - 1999) was a renowned Russian born French artist famous for drawing the designs for over 2000 French film posters for American, Italian, and French films during a career spanning forty years (from the 1930s to the 1970s). He produced a vast body of work in a variety of genres, including This Gun for Hire (1942), Gilda (1946), The Lady from Shanghai (1948) and From Russia with Love (1963).
This original vintage movie poster has been professionally linen-backed is sized an impressive 44 1/2 x 60 1/2 inches (plus a little more with the linen). It will be sent rolled (unframed).
