Star Wars 1977 US International Style C Film Poster, Tom Chantrell

Probably the most iconic imagery and poster for Star Wars.The US 1 sheet style C film poster - a key item for any serious Star Wars collector. This one is in incredible, very rare ROLLED condition. Superb colours. Honestly the best unrestored condition we have ever, and probably will ever, see for this poster.

Sometime during the 1980's there were many thousands of these that were illegally re-printed. These prints are extremely hard to distinguish from the real deal.. The fake is darker, the writing on the bottom border is thicker, and there is a 'hair' on the back of the princess and on R2-D2's leg.  This poster is guaranteed original. 

Designed by Tom Chantrell, who was tasked with enhancing the star appeal and the merchandising opportunities for Fox and George Lucas.

This original vintage movie poster is sized 27 x 41 inches inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed).
