We adore the typically colourful design by Constantin Belinsky that features on the first-year-of-release French Grande film poster for 40s The Loves of Carmen. Simply beautiful colours.
In The Loves of Carmen (Les Amours de Carmen) in 19th century Spain, the beautiful and highly temperamental gypsy Carmen (Rita Hayworth) lures naive young soldier Don Jose (Glenn Ford) into a doomed romance.
